1. Introduction

By purchasing from Precision Woodworks you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. We operate in accordance with New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986. 

 

2. Orders and Payment

  • Acceptance: All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.

  • Pricing: All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

  • Payment: Payment must be made in full prior to the dispatch of goods or provision of services. 

 

3. Delivery and Fulfilment

  • Goods: We will deliver goods to the address provided in your order. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary.

  • Services: Services will be provided with reasonable care and skill, at the time agreed upon or within a reasonable timeframe. 

 

4. Returns and Refund Policy

Under New Zealand consumer law, your rights depend on the nature of the issue.

  • Change of Mind: Please choose carefully. We are not legally required to provide a refund if you simply change your mind or your circumstances alter. However, we do not accept returns for change of mind.

  • Faulty or Damaged Items: If a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or does not match the description, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. 

  • Process for Returns: To initiate a return, contact us via our Contact Form with your order number, proof of purchase, and details of the fault.

 

5. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA)

Nothing in these terms is intended to limit or override your rights under the CGA. If you are acquiring goods or services for business purposes, you agree that the guarantees provided under the CGA do not apply to your purchase. 

 

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Precision Woodworks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with our goods or services.

 

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
